  1. General Provisions

1.1. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets out the procedure for collecting, processing, storing and protecting the personal data of users of the website (the “Site”) and governs the relationships arising from such interaction.

1.2. The personal data operators and joint owners of the Site are legal entities established under the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Eurasian Terminals LLP and Eurasian Logistics Group LLP (jointly, the “Companies”).

1.3. Use of the Site’s functionality constitutes the User’s unconditional acceptance of this Policy and the terms governing the processing of their personal data.

1.4. If the User does not agree with this Policy, the User must immediately stop using the Site.

1.5. This Policy applies solely to this Site. The Companies do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites and services that the User may access through external links available on the Companies’ Site.

  1. Categories of Personal Data Processed

2.1. For the purposes of this Policy, “User Personal Data” means the following information:

2.1.1. Information voluntarily provided by the User when completing feedback forms, submitting requests or using the Site’s services. This may include first name, last name, patronymic, contact telephone number, email address, the name of the company represented, job title and any other information voluntarily provided by the User in text messages.

2.1.2. Technical data automatically transmitted to the Site through software installed on the User’s device while the Site is being used. This includes the device’s IP address, cookie data, browser type and version, technical specifications of the equipment used, operating system, date and time of access to the Site, geolocation data and browsing history on the Site.

  1. Purposes of Collecting and Processing Personal Data

3.1. The Companies collect and store only the personal data strictly necessary to provide high-quality logistics and terminal services and to perform legal agreements and contracts with the User.

3.2. The Companies process User Personal Data for the following specific purposes:

3.2.1. Accurate identification of the User in the course of interaction with the Companies and establishment of contractual relations.

3.2.2. Effective communication with the User, including the delivery of official notices, commercial proposals, requests and calculations relating to services provided by Eurasian Terminals LLP and Eurasian Logistics Group LLP.

3.2.3. Prompt processing of incoming applications, logistics enquiries and orders submitted by the User through the Site.

3.2.4. Provision of effective customer and technical support in connection with issues involving the use of the Site or the status of logistics operations.

3.2.5. Delivery of informational and promotional materials concerning new services, rates and special offers of the Companies, subject to the User’s prior consent.

3.2.6. Improvement of the Site, evaluation of its usability, and performance of statistical, marketing and other research using data that has first been anonymized.

  1. Conditions for Processing and Disclosure to Third Parties

4.1. User Personal Data is processed without a fixed time limit, by any lawful means, including within personal data information systems, with or without the use of automated tools.

4.2. User Personal Data is treated as strictly confidential and may not be disclosed, except where the User has voluntarily made the information publicly available to an unlimited number of persons.

4.3. The Companies may disclose User Personal Data to third parties only in the following cases:

4.3.1. The User has given explicit and unambiguous consent to such disclosure.

4.3.2. Disclosure is objectively necessary to provide a service requested by the User, for example, disclosure of certain contact details to customs brokers, subcontracted transport companies or temporary storage warehouse operators for the direct performance of the logistics chain.

4.3.3. Disclosure is required by the applicable laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the established legal procedure, for example, in response to an official request from judicial, law-enforcement or tax authorities.

4.3.4. Disclosure is required to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the Companies where the User breaches the terms of a contract or the Site User Agreement.

  1. Protection of Personal Data

5.1. The Companies implement a comprehensive set of necessary and sufficient organizational, legal and technical measures to protect User Personal Data against unlawful or accidental access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying, distribution and other unlawful actions by third parties.

5.2. Technical measures include secure data transmission protocols, encryption systems, regular backups and vulnerability monitoring of information systems.

5.3. Access to databases is restricted to authorized employees of the Companies who have received appropriate instruction and signed legally binding confidentiality agreements.

  1. Use of Cookies

6.1. The Site uses cookies—small text files placed on the User’s device—to improve the user experience, analyze internet traffic and ensure the proper functioning of the Site.

7.2. The User is required to:

7.2.2. Promptly update and supplement the information provided if contact details or other particulars change.

  1. Amendments to the Privacy Policy

8.1. The Companies reserve the right to amend or supplement this Policy unilaterally without obtaining the User’s prior consent.

8.2. A new version of the Policy takes effect upon publication on the Site unless otherwise stated in that version. Users are advised to review this page regularly for the current terms.

8.3. Continued use of the Site after amendments to the Policy constitutes the User’s automatic acceptance of the revised terms.
